Apply the WCAG Accessibility Guidelines to an Online Resource
The Online Resource that I am applying WCAG too is the Endeavor course from Everfi.
Perceivable – Learners are able see the information as well as hear this. For each section the information is narrated (option to mute the sound) and the written text is simultaneously displayed on the screen.
Operable – Prompts are provided on the screen to move the learner forward. this includes arrows highlighted, words with instructions appearing as well as narration explaining how to continue.
Understandable – The written information and narration can be controlled by the learner allowing them to review this if more time is needed. New words are added to an ongoing glossary that is also dictated to and explained within the text and narration. This allows students to understand the content. The interface is easy to use with clear visuals (such as arrows or flashing icons) and written and narrated instructions.
Robust – Students are able to use this on desktops, cell phones and tablets.
